8 Career-Ending WWE Disasters
5. Perry Saturn's Mop
Perry Saturn had solid, if rarely spectacular runs in ECW and WCW, before jumping ship to WWE alongside Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko as part of The Radicalz. It's tough to stand out among that calibre of talent, but Saturn did OK for himself until an ill-fated match with a jobber called Mike Bell on an episode of the long-forgotten WWE Jakked.
After Bell botched an arm drag and Saturn landed on his head, Perry went ballistic and started shooting on the guy for real. Management was justifiably furious with his behavior and, as such, they went ahead and handed out a severe punishment. This wasn't in the shape of a fine or suspension, but by saddling him with one of the worst gimmicks of all time.
Yes, for the next few months, Perry Saturn would have a relationship with a mop that had a face on it. Moppy (yup, they really pushed the imagination on that one) and Saturn would get into arguments, and were involved in a love triangle with Terri Runnels. Runnels even gave him the ultimatum: "It's me or the mop." Saturn picked the mop, because of course he did.
