8 WWE Dream Matches That Happened Way Too Late

2. Sting Vs. Triple H

It's another appearance for Sting and Triple H, this time against each other. The man from Venice Beach finally stepped foot in a WWE ring at the 2014 Survivor Series, helping team Cena overcome Team Authority in the main event. After downing The Game with a Scorpion Death Drop, you knew these two were going to square off on a major event. The match was made for WrestleMania 31. High anticipation followed, most of it to do with how the match would be booked. Common sense dictated that they'd need to work smart, probably with the aide of a few bells and whistles, to hide the limitations of the 56-year-old Stinger. It turned into a full-on nostalgia fest, which was fine. But, had this match taken place in the early 2000s (as was rumoured at the time) it likely would have been so, so much better.
