9 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (July 18th)

3. Will The Brock Situation Be Addressed?

Last week, this column wondered aloud whether WWE would tout the stunning victory Bock Lesnar achieved the previous weekend at UFC 200 over Mark Hunt. Lesnar’s win after nearly five years away from MMA had made him a household name again and sparked great interest in the Beast a month ahead of his return to WWE for SummerSlam.

And then everything went to hell in a handbasket Friday, when Lesnar was informed that he had a potential anti-doping violation from an out-of-competition drug test administered late last month, less than two weeks before Lesnar’s victory. It’s still not known whether the potential doping violation is for a banned substance or a banned methodology. Brock could face a two-year suspension from UFC if the violation is confirmed.

With Lesnar slated to wrestle Randy Orton at SummerSlam, will this situation be addressed in any way on Raw, or will WWE keep a tight lid on things until more is concretely known? The story is a huge one in the mainstream, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be mentioned.
