9 Funniest Times Wrestlers CORPSED On Live TV

4. Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes

If there was ever a month in time during the past several years of the North American mainstream where the historically difficult WWE actually looked like the fun place to work as opposed to AEW, it was during the post-Fastlane 2023 press conference when new Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso emerged from the former's bus a little worse for wear.

Having opened the show with an awesome victory over The Judgment Day, the pair had obviously had quite a while to toast their victory and/or forgot they had press conference duties to tend to later that night. After admitting to "libations", the pair proceeded to giggle their way through the entire thing, Rhodes offered his best "YEET" right as that was on the cusp of becoming the biggest thing in wrestling, and Uso showed a small part of the personality that would drive him to World Title glory a year and a half later.

As joyous of the footage of the two just losing it every other second ("do you feel him, sir" is one of the funniest things Cody Rhodes has ever said, inclusive of his sidesplitting moments on Being The Elite), the bigger picture is one of a workplace alive with ideas, energy and camaraderie. Away from marketing and rhetoric, a new era was clearly here.
