9 Things We Need To See At WWE Clash Of Champions 2017
3. Mojo Rawley Vs. Zack Ryder
Tension has been teased between the Hype Bros for a fair number of weeks now.
Their most recent falling out came just this past week after that trouncing at the hands of the Bludgeon Brothers. With Zack Ryder taken out at ringside pre-match, Mojo Rawley was then picked apart and pinned in under 90 seconds, prompting a backstage argument that was conveniently taped by WWE.com.
While this could all play into an eventual break-up at Clash of Champions itself, given that it’s already been hinted at for so long, there’d be nothing wrong with having them go their separate ways during the build-up to the PPV. Then, Clash of Champions can instead become the scene of their first singles match against each other.
Holding off any longer would mean we’d be into the New Year before this break-up angle got a pay-off, and as a mid-card feud at best, Rawley vs. Ryder would likely be lost in the shuffle if it continued into WrestleMania season.
