3. Braun Strowman Vs. Shane McMahon

Weapons-grade bullsh*t got us to this one.

And not even good weapons. Buckets of green goo and a steel cage. Green goo that was on the same show as the black stuff Randy Orton was spewing for weeks on end. And a steel cage undermined by the existence of far more dangerous stipulations, as selected by a giant berk who's been undermined by Shane McMahon for the last two months.

'The Monster Among Men' inadvertently lived down to 'The Money's assertions in the build so perhaps the bulk of this match's layout should have been anticipated. Elias and Jaxon Ryker were on hand to help McMahon, arming him with a steel chair that disadvantaged Strowman for an unrealistic amount of time.

He did at least constantly try and escape - he's the clever one here, after all - but all of that was set up for the part-timer to take his annual bump. It was impressive, as they always are, but fairly hollow. Strowman hoyed him to the canvas from up high, before getting through his expositional speech about stupidity and finishing him off.

Never has a match existed more for one bump than this one. It's little wonder almost nothing else about the contest resonated as a result.
