AEW Double Or Nothing 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. The Show Goes WrestleMania Long

AEW can justify longer pay-per-views because they don't schedule one every single month. That's fine, and value for money is important, but these supershows should leave fans wanting more instead of exhausting them by the time main events roll around.

That was the case at Revolution this past March.

Folks in Orlando were shattered when Hangman Page vs. Adam Cole closed out the pay-per-view, and reactions were muted for most of the match. In fairness, they pulled the nose up for the finishing stretch, but there was a sense of relief inside that arena when the thing ended, and that's not great.

This is something AEW can learn from WWE's WrestleMania format. PPVs don't need to be draining epics that feel like they've lasted an entire day. Sometimes, it's fine to present a tightly-focused three-hour card instead of a four-five hour one.
