AEW Full Gear 2021: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Superkliq Vs. Jurassic Express & Christian Cage
Speaking of which.
In fairness, everybody knew what they were getting from this 'Falls Count Anywhere' scrap going in. It's a Young Bucks match, for crying out loud, so there was always gonna be some spotty logic for the sake of big moves, and this sextet were 100% going to cram everything they could into the time given.
On that note, this was far too long. Fan mileage varies on Bucks' spotfests, but they're not that big of a problem when hidden behind other bells and whistles like blood or table spots. Someone does need to have a word with them about trying to work 18 matches in one though, but that's tough when they're key members of AEW management.
Christian Cage (who looked like late-era DDP), Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus all got individual moments to shine throughout, and the end result was the correct one. JB deserved to get some payback for that prior Con-Chair-To, and the fact he didn't get it on Adam Cole suggests they're heading for a solo showdown soon.
This was fine.
