Unfortunately, AEW's Anthony Henry is set for a spell on the sidelines after breaking his jaw over the weekend.

The WorkHorsemen man took to X to reveal this injury occurred during a match against fellow AEW talent Bryan Keith, with Keith retaining the DPW Title against Henry at DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling's DPW Live 5 event from the Berwyn Eagles Club, Illinois on Sunday.

As alluded to, the hugely underrated WorkHorsemen tandem of Anthony Henry and JD Drake were expected to be a part of the upcoming tournament for the vacant AEW Tag Team Titles. Unfortunately, that will now not be the case.

A favourite of the independent scene thanks to his work in the likes of EVOLVE, Premiere Wrestling Experience, World Wrestling Network, and IWA Mid-South, Anthony Henry debuted for AEW in September 2021.

Henry last wrestled on AEW programming on a January edition of Rampage, coming up short against Penta El Zero Miedo. Prior to that, the WorkHorsemen as a team were last in AEW action earlier that same month, losing to Sting and Darby Allin on an episode of Collision. Away from AEW TV, Henry and Drake have been mainstays of Ring of Honor.
