Backstage News On Who Is Writing AEW Dynamite At The Moment

Here's whose pencil is guiding AEW through the Empty Arena Era.

Tony Khan is the man responsible for writing the most recent episodes of AEW Dynamite, a new report from PWInsider claims.

The site states that the AEW President has penned the bulk of the content with input from Cody. Khan is primarily responsible for every episode that has aired over the past few weeks, sitting down to piece the shows together in a very short period of time in the knowledge that he'd have to produce them using a smaller crew than usual.

Described as a "trial by fire," the ongoing global situation has presented AEW with similar challenges to WWE, though Khan and co. have taken slightly different approaches. They used only a third of their talent roster on their most recent set of tapings but compensated by bringing local wrestlers in for enhancement spots. Per PWInsider, Khan wrote these episodes like old squash-heavy territorial shows - the kind he grew up on - and this is certainly how Dynamite has come off on television.

Cody's role shouldn't be downplayed either: the report states that he has been "instrumental" in helping the AEW President here, getting himself involved in a number of different programmes.
