Braun Strowman Claims He Wants To Retire The Undertaker
'The Monster Among Men' reveals all in new interview.
Braun Strowman and The Undertaker have crossed paths several times throughout their WWE runs, but aside from the 2017 Royal Rumble aside, they've never actually competed in the same match.
This may eventually change if 'The Monster Among Men' gets his way, though. In a new interview with The Express, Strowman has revealed that not only does he want to wrestle 'The Deadman,' but he wants to retire him.
"Just the opportunity to share the ring with The Undertaker, but maybe the final hammer to nail the coffin shut on 'The Deadman,'" Braun said, adding that "'The Monster' is up to the challenge. I don't know how many more retirement matches he can have."
Strowman then went on to acknowledge his 2017 series of bouts against another ageing giant: "I can put him out to pasture like I did to Big Show."
The Undertaker is currently scheduled to return to in-ring action at Super Showdown, where he'll face Goldberg. Getting a read on his future (or when he plans on retiring) is never easy. Regardless, Braun will likely have to join a long queue of potential opponents for any farewell bout... before WWE inevitably go with Baron bloody Corbin.
