Chavo Guerrero Clears The Air After Controversial Seth Rollins Attack Comments
"Remember when the wrestlers were tougher than the fans?", read Chavo's original tweet on Rollins.
Chavo Guerrero has hit Twitter in an attempt at clarifying his remarks on Seth Rollins being attacked by a fan during this week's episode of WWE Raw.
The 51-year-old had tweeted the following minutes after Raw went off the air on Monday night, referencing the fan that hopped the barricade and leapt on Rollins following Seth's in-ring segment with Finn Balor:-
Remember when the wrestlers were tougher than the fans? Ah, the good ol’ days. ??♂️

In a follow-up, Guerrero said that he was going to own the situation rather than deleting the original tweet, clarifying that he didn't mean to disrespect Rollins:-

Rollins' attacker, 24-year-old Elisah Spencer, was arrested and charged for what happened. WWE cameras briefly caught the incident before cutting to a replay while referees and other WWE team members separated Rollins and Spencer, whom Seth attempted to restrain with a facelock.
Speaking with TMZ on Tuesday, Rollins called the attack "terrifying" but clarified that he hadn't been injured.
Guerrero worked for AEW between July and September this year, serving as Andrade El Idolo's executive consultant onscreen. He left that role to work as a wrestling coordinator in season two of Young Rock shortly after All Out 2021, with a return still on the table.
