CM Punk has responded to Dax Harwood's plea for the star to make up with The Elite and return to AEW.

The FTR man took to his podcast recently to implore his pal, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks to "find a way to make it work", stating that if the Brawl Out adversaries could get past their differences, "we can set up the future of professional wrestling for a long time and we can change the course of professional wrestling for a very long time."

Now, in response to The Pro Wresting Podcast sharing Harwood's aforementioned quote on Instagram, The Best in the World has seemingly responded to his wrestling mate's request.

As Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp would clock, Punk posted a short and simple "Dur" on the post that came equipped with the caption of "Let's just shake hands and say sorry lol... No but seriously."

The former AEW World Champion hasn't been seen on AEW programming since the night of All Out 2022, with Punk besting Jon Moxley to pick up the strap for the second time on the night. He'd then go on to take shots at the likes of The Elite and Colt Cabana in the post-PPV press conference before said comments led to a heated backstage brawl between Punk, Ace Steel, The Bucks, and Omega.

Punk and The Elite were swiftly suspended afterwards, while Steel was fired. And the former WWE Champion also suffered a torn triceps on the night of the September PPV.

Whether or not Punk will return to AEW is still unclear as of writing.
