"Eventually it's going to happen," said Drew of WWE bringing back 'Broken Dreams'.

Someday, WWE is going to bring 'Broken Dreams' by Shaman's Harvest back as Drew McIntyre's entrance theme - and the man himself wants audiences to sing back at him when it happens.

Speaking with Inside The Ropes, McIntyre believes that while he believes 'Broken Dreams' will return someday, it may be saved for a big moment:-

“Yeah – I say it all the time in every interview I get asked, which is almost every interview, eventually it’s going to happen. I imagine it’s going to be in a bigger event, it might be as part of a package – we did that in NXT, prior to my match with Bobby Roode when I won the NXT title, we used a part of it and people were absolutely buzzing.”

The 36-year-old continued, envisaging a situation similar to SummerSlam 2021. Edge combined the old and new that night, making half of his ring-walk to The Brood's old WWE theme before rounding it off to his more established modern song, Alter Bridge's 'Metalingus':-

“I see it more like as a combination like Edge did just at SummerSlam there, with the Brood into his new music. If we could use it in some capacity at the beginning, cutting into the war pipes, which is more suitable for who I am today.”

Finally, Drew spoke on the audience blaring the lyrics back to him in a manner similar to AEW fans singing Fozzy's 'Judas' to Chris Jericho:-

“The thing I always say is, everybody please learn the words because if I somehow convince management ‘we gotta use this, because the fans love it, they’re all waiting for it, they’ve been asking me for it for years, they know all the words’, and I walk out there and nobody knows the words and they don’t sing it like Jericho’s song, I’ll be devastated, and I’m going to have to go back with my tail between my legs going ‘I was wrong’.”

McIntyre used 'Broken Dreams' for part of his original WWE run, debuting the track in 2010 before joining 3MB in 2012 and switching to a variation of Heath Slater's song along with the rest of the stable. His current song, 'Gallantry (Defining Moment Remix)' by CFO$, has been in operation since April 2018.
