Every AEW Pay-Per-View Ranked - From Worst To Best
8. Revolution 2020
Coming just a month before the COVID-19 epidemic shut the world down, AEW was on fire at Revolution 2020. The night was headlined by a massive world title match, capped by an awesome babyface win, but it was a tag team battle for the ages that stole the night.
'Hangman' Adam Page and Kenny Omega were captivating as AEW Tag Team Champions. As a volatile and hard-drinking Page battled with his imposter syndrome, the level-headed Omega tried to keep him cool and convince him of his abilities. They made an incredible team, and they rolled into Revolution to face their fellow Elite members in The Young Bucks. This is not only one of the best AEW matches ever, it is a serious contender for the best tag team match of all time, and Hangman teasing his discontent towards the rest of the group at the end of the match was a sign of things to come.
Jon Moxley would end the night as AEW World Champion for the first time, after defeating Chris Jericho despite the best efforts of The Inner Circle. There was also a great back-and-forth between MJF and Cody Rhodes, with MJF getting the pinfall after smashing Cody with his Dynamite Diamond Ring, and Darby Allin won a high-flying bout against Sammy Guevara.
