Davey Boy Smith was in prime form alongside Owen Hart as a Tag Team Champion between 1996 and 1997, and kicked off the most (only?) prestigious European Championship run with a match against 'The King Of Harts' that remains one of the best contests in Monday Night Raw history.

He never attained a fraction of similar success after the damaging fallout of the Montreal Screwjob, but looked every bit like a top level player during such a prize-laden run.
