14. John Cena

How He Did It: By Rising Above Hate, Never Giving Up and being Big Match John, that's how! It was inevitable that Cena would add 'Money in the Bank winner' to his ever-growing WWE CV, and he did just that at the eponymous 2012 pay-per-view. Cena bested Big Show, Miz, Kane and Jericho.

What He Did With it: Cena cashed-in at Raw 1000, announcing it ahead of time that he would be taking on CM Punk in the main event. The two had a good match, but the finish was rotten: Cena was DQ'd when Big Show interfered, meaning that he was the first person to cash-in his title opportunity yet not win the belt he was challenging for.

Ha, what a loser! He'd bounce back, though, winning the 2013 Royal Rumble and going on to main event opposite The Rock at WrestleMania 29, so it's wasn't all bad for the Cenation leader.

Effect On Career: Oh, come on.
