One-time WWE star Dirty Dango (f.k.a. Fandango) will be retiring from in-ring competition soon.

In the wake of his sudden release from WWE in June of last year, alongside his tag partner Tyler Breeze, Dango would take to the independent scene under his new moniker and even ply his trade as part of the National Wrestling Alliance. However, it now appears as though the former NXT Tag Team Champion's time as an in-ring performer may be over and done with in the not too distant future.

Taking to Twitter to reveal the news, Dango would state:

“I’ll be stepping away from the ring in couple months. Goodbye forever,”

Doubling down on his eventual stepping away from the spotlight, Dango would also deactivate his Twitter account shortly after the post went live. That being said, the star's Instagram is still alive and kicking.

His aforementioned release in 2021 brought to an end a 15-year stint as part of Vince McMahon's juggernaut promotion. Though the star still managed to wiggle his way onto the newly released WWE 2K22 video game.

This marks the second eye-catching in-ring retirement in a matter of hours, too, with WWE icon Triple H also calling it a day during an interview with Stephan A. Smith on First Take on the back of his serious cardiac event.

Everyone here at WhatCulture wishes both stars the best in whatever comes next for them.
