The WWE's unprecedented move into the UK wrestling scene has generated a lot of buzz among British fans. Their working relationship with companies like ICW and Progress has brought new eyes to their product and their performers. The UK Title tournament went a step further, bringing indie wrestlers onto WWE's platform to compete for a new prize.

The two indisputable stars created from this tournament are Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate. Their rivalry over the WWE UK Championship has been brief, but has already provided some terrific bouts.

Intriguingly, Dunne and Bate's adversarial relationship doesn't transcend WWE. In fact, in PROGRESS Wrestling, they make up two of the three members of British Strong Style, a villainous stable bent on dominating the independent scene in order to advance their careers.

Pete Dunne is PROGRESS World Champion, with Bate and Trent Severn the Tag Team Champions. However, the events that have unfolded in WWE cannot stay dormant for long. Dunne and Bate will turn on each other, and it won't just be the UK Championship on the line.

Tyler Bate has the talent to make it on WWE's main roster, but his young age means there's no rush. Bate should look to liberate PROGRESS from the yoke of Dunne's tyranny, and the only way to do that is by capturing the PROGRESS World Championship.
