Coming into his own as a performer, Triple H was at the top of his game (pun intended) throughout the year 2000. Both he and The Rock had produced sterling bouts years earlier over the WWF Intercontinental gold, but they traded the Heavyweight Title for much of 2000. At Judgment Day, they met in a 60-minute Iron Man Match.

Shawn Michaels was the special guest referee, but it's the return of The Undertaker that makes this match so special. As the clock counted down, 'Taker rode down on a motorcycle to Kid Rock's 'American Bad Ass', and thumped virtually everyone with huge Chokeslams.

It was wall-to-wall chaos, and the kind of thing the WWF had become famous for on pay-per-view during the 'Attitude Era'. By this point, the company had long since come up with a proven formula, and it was working a treat.

Even without Undertaker's re-emergence, the Judgment Day main event would have been memorable, but it was very much enhanced because of that moment. Fans were delighted to see 'The Deadman' return under a new, more realistic guise.
