Following the 20 August Emergence special, IMPACT Wrestling's next outing on IMPACT Plus is slated for Saturday, 18 September. That will be for Victory Road.

Though the event was taped last weekend, only one match has officially been confirmed. Ace Austin, who won a four-way over Chris Sabin, Sami Callihan, and Moose, will challenge Christian Cage for the World Championship. Cage had defeated Brian Myers in the Emergence main event to retain the title.

Victory Road had previously been a regular fixture on the then-Total Nonstop Action's annual pay-per-view calendar, beginning in 2004 - the company's first monthly pay-per-view, too - and ending in 2012. The name was used as a one-off special of IMPACT's weekly show in 2017, before transitioning into a yearly IMPACT Plus special in 2019.

Last year's Victory Road marked the return of the monthly specials, going down a few weeks prior to Bound For Glory. Marquee matches saw Eddie Edwards challenge World Champion Eric Young, Susan challenge Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo, and an enthralling four-way contest between Josh Alexander, Alex Shelley, Karl Anderson, and Ace Austin.

Stay tuned to IMPACT's socials for more match announcements in the coming weeks.
