IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen
6. Sami Callihan Places A Hit On The Good Brothers
At Under Siege, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson prevented Sami Callihan from executing a Piledriver, effectively handing the World Championship number one contender's spot to Moose. You see, wherever Kenny Omega goes, the Good Brothers will follow close behind.
Not here.
Against All Odds' Omega vs. Moose headliner had enough shenanigans to cover a handful of title defences, as tantalising as it was to see the Young Bucks back in (technically) an IMPACT ring. At Slammiversary, interference and the sort is essentially a given, considering the match will now be fought with no disqualifications. The Good Brothers will get involved.
Unless, you know, Sami Callihan hires someone(/people) to take them out prior to the main event. Ideally, this would go down either after or during their World Tag Team Championships match so their exclusion there is avoided.
Who would want to help out 'The Draw', though? Moose hates Omega, but he equally hates Callihan. A group of IMPACT babyfaces seems the best best, given that the narrative is they all want to be the guy who brings the World Championship back to IMPACT Wrestling.
Or, major surprise number one of this list; Bullet Club helps him out. It's a real curveball, but IMPACT did tease them for the event. Their working agreement with New Japan has already seen the Club's El Phantasmo head over. It's quite literally a possibility.
