The 'Greatest Of All Time' posted an image of David Beckham playing his last game for Paris Saint-Germain F.C on Instagram after a defeat that saw him pounded into defeat by multiple Samoan Spikes from The Bloodline's enforcer. Cena (eventually) walked out dejected and destroyed after the match.

In reality, Cena's current WWE run may now be over thanks to changes within the SAG-AFTRA strike situation. 'The Champ' was suddenly available for a summer run with no work in Hollywood, and has worked with and against The Bloodline since making his return.

There was no indications before or during the match that this would be his last, and there had already been rumours that he'd work WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia next spring. Independent of his ongoing acting work, Cena returned for a WrestleMania 39 feud with Austin Theory, losing to the then-United States Champion on the 'Show Of Shows' after bodying him on the microphone in the build.
