This is one of the worst promos in the history of Monday Night Raw and apparently that was the goal, at least that's what the dirtsheets said - maybe WWE was attempting damage control? Boston was hosting the Raw before Survivor Series 2011 where the big story was The Rocks in-ring return after a seven-year absence from the ring, and he was teaming with his WrestleMania opponent John Cena to face R-Truth and The Miz. Mick Foley's famous This Is Your Life promo he had with The Rock was gaining a sequel, though this time it was John Cenas life on display. The whole thing fell flat and the Boston crowd (Cenas hometown crowd lets remember) completely rejected it, even more so when Cenas father came down to the ring and ranted at the fans for their lack of support towards his son. You have to wonder why WWE even tried to put this on the air, were they that desperate for Cena to gain the fans approval? The only saving grace was when If you smell... blasted through the arena and The Rock stormed down to the ring to a huge ovation, planted a Rock Bottom on Foley and left without a word, thankfully putting an end to one of the worst segments of all time.
