Kane Considering Political Career?
Corporate Kane has some pretty lofty ambitions it seems.
Wrestling and politics have a long, storied history that extends further than the exploits of Jesse 'The Body' Ventura and Chris Jericho taking his conspiracy fears all the way to Washington.
Ludvig Borga once ran for parliament in Finland, and Rick Steiner is on the Cherokee County school board after all. Could we be adding the name of Kane into this illustrious group soon?
Kane, well, Glenn Jacobs, spoke recently about his political ambitions, expressing a serious interest in running for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee in 2018. Most likely running as a Republican, Jacobs stated that he 'care(s) very deeply for this community, like a lot of people do'.
Jacobs goes on to state that this deep care is the only reason he would consider getting involved in the murky world of politics, and that people who do care must try to make a difference.
For a guy who plays an arsonist demon on TV, Jacobs has been pretty open about his political views in the past. Jacobs is a full-on Libertarian, and even has a political blog, albeit one that isn't updated too frequently. He has stated in the past that he deplores politics however, and that he is only active in it because he wants it out of his life.
Kane for Mayor?! Unless you want to be tied up to the ring post and have your testicles electrocuted, you better get on board with this.
