The reigning AEW World Champion took a light-hearted swipe at WWE's mass cull.

Kenny Omega cracked some gags about WWE's recent spate of releases on the latest edition of 'Being The Elite'.

The current AEW World Champion, who dropped his IMPACT Title to Christian Cage on the debut episode of Rampage, fretted in front of the cameras about how All Elite's locker room is filling up with ex-WWE talent. Then, Omega mock-panicked about how Tony Khan would be able to find the room for more after recent releases.

This skit was short and came right at the tail end of the latest YouTube show.

Earlier, Kenny had also joked about doing the "job" for Cage, and said he had to go do the same for Andrade El Idolo at AAA's 'TripleMania XXIX' show (Omega ended up winning that match). That was followed by those light-hearted jibes at WWE for letting so many workers go over the past few months.

Omega's jokes also broached a subject some on social media are legit concerned by; AEW's roster does have a lot of former WWE stars on it, and many wrestling fans feel this could hinder the progress of some younger All Elite originals long-term.
