Kurt Angle Not Negotiating With WWE On Return

"I’m not going to talk to them."

Kurt Angle has dismissed the idea of a WWE return, telling SportsIllustrated "I€™m not going to talk to them." Instead, the free agent looks more likely to sign an ambassador deal with TNA. He put the company over, saying how they'd stood by him through his highs and lows. €œTNA has been really great to me, and they just offered me another contract to come back and be the face of the company and do something to teach the guys,€ he said. €œI€™m taking that under consideration because they've always been loyal to me.€ However, what's interesting about the interview is that Angle then went on to talk extensively about WWE. He put over the fact that his ability is as good as ever, and pressed the point that he's clean and sober now. For a guy who literally just said he didn't want to talk with WWE, it sure sounded like he was putting out a call to them. He went on to say that the reason he didn't get signed last time was because of his DUI history and how it would impact WWE's public image. But he did add "I think I€™ll end up in the Hall of Fame, but I just don€™t know if WWE will ever want me to wrestle again. It€™s up to them, and it€™s up to me. I don€™t know what I€™m going to do. But if I do decide to do it, it would be nice. A lot of people would like to see it, so we€™ll see what happens.€ So in short, he'll be staying with TNA and is loyal to them, but still can't stop talking about a potential WWE return in the future...
