Kurt Angle's 6 WWE Title Reigns Ranked From Worst To Best
3. World Heavyweight Championship (6th) 10 January 2006 - 2 April 2006
After Batista got injured over on SmackDown and was forced to vacate his belt, RAW's 'Olympic Hero' made his surprise return to the blue brand in a Battle Royal for the gold, last eliminating Mark Henry to capture the belt.
Throughout his last reign in the company, Angle - now as 'The Wrestling Machine' - had some fantastic matches with the likes of Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels and, particularly, The Undertaker.
Angle would finally drop the strap to Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 22, in a triple threat match also involving Randy Orton, before leaving for TNA just months after losing the Big Gold Belt.
'The Wrestling Machine' was always fun to watch and could always put on a classic match at any stage of his career, but during this run as SmackDown's top champion he was somehow even more badass.
Little things such as the mouthguard, the new remix of his theme song and his insane intensity made this a memorable and unique title reign.
