Former WWE wrestler Lars Sullivan has uploaded what looks like a couple of character concept art photos to Instagram.

Say hello to 'The Brilliant Behemoth' Lawrence Sullivan, as unveiled by the 32-year-old during the small hours of Tuesday morning:-

Without further details, it's impossible to say for sure what this character design was intended to be. A new gimmick idea that never made it past the planning stage, perhaps? Either way, Lars almost looks like a more civilised version of AEW's The Butcher rocking up for a Peaky Blinders audition here.

Sullivan was released from his WWE contract in January, having been taken off television three months prior. A former favourite of Vince McMahon, his run was blighted by issues as wide-ranging as the serious knee injury that kept him out for over a year, harassment allegations, and a history of bigoted message board posts that earned him a $100,000 fine in 2019.

Speaking with Fightful following his release, Lars claimed he was finished with pro wrestling after suffering severe anxiety issues throughout his WWE tenure. Major pushes opposite John Cena and Brock Lesnar were reportedly scrapped due to Sullivan's personal troubles.
