Power Ranking WWE's Top Performers For November 2016
2. AJ Styles
Previous Ranking: 1
Dropping one spot on the list is the "new face that runs the place" over on SmackDown. AJ Styles has been nothing short of his moniker of "Phenomenal" since arriving in WWE, and if the month of November proved anything, it's that he can work with anyone on the planet and create riveting pro wrestling television.
SmackDown spent a large portion of the last thirty days booking Styles against James Ellsworth and the WWE world champion has fallen - if only technically - several times to Ambrose's little buddy. Just about anyone else in the company would come out of anything other than a total squash over Ellsworth looking like a jabroni, but AJ is too talented to be hampered by things that affect mere mortals.
With the way he's had to contend with Ellsworth in his feud with Dean, I'm honestly surprised they haven't booked the two in a "James Ellsworth on a pole" match; actually I shouldn't say that because it's not too late for them to decide to suspend him from the ceiling for their TLC bout.
And through all the ridiculousness, shenanigans, bad comedy and questionable matches, Styles not only came out undamaged, he actually managed to increase his star power. He's on top for a reason.
