It's a testament to the tremendous impact he's made in his return that Goldberg was able to place so highly on this list. With only a few brief promos and under two minutes of ring time since he came back to WWE, Goldberg has immediately ascended to the lofty position as one of the biggest stars in the industry.

I'll be honest; I never expected the former WCW phenom to be this over. I figured he'd be good for a nostalgia pop and then get largely booed against Brock Lesnar, especially with the bout being in Bret Hart's home country where many fans still resent him for the errant kick that helped end The Hitman's career.

I was wrong.

The fans are eating up every bit of Goldberg that WWE gives them, and his contract has gone from a one-off match to a confirmed inclusion in The Royal Rumble and an inevitable WrestleMania match, probably against Lesnar.

WWE would be wise to utilize the rub that Goldberg is capable of, and rather than have he and Brock face each other again at Mania they should book him with someone who could use the push a win over Goldberg would bring. But regardless of whether that happens or we see Lesnar/Goldberg 3 (or 4), his return has been huge for wrestling.
