4. The Undertaker Vs. Randy Orton (WrestleMania 21)
After the great Ric Flair match at WrestleMania X8, The Undertaker went through a couple of years where his WrestleMania matches were among the worst on the show. He battled Big Show and A-Train in 2003 and Kane in 2004 but, at WrestleMania 21, The Dead Man was facing rising star Randy Orton. This one had potential. The build to the match was great as Orton tried to show 'Taker he wasn't afraid of him, taunting him and even delivering an RKO to one of The Phenom's former Mania opponents, Jake The Snake Roberts. He also delivered an RKO to on-screen girlfriend Stacy Keibler because why not, eh? The match itself was much better than any Undertaker WrestleMania match since his clash Triple H clash four years earlier. The Legend Killer seemed, at various points, to have Undertaker's number getting plenty of offence and landing near falls that had the audience thinking that Randy might actually end Undertaker's undefeated streak at The Grandaddy Of Them All. Didn't think it was over when Orton countered a chokeslam with an RKO? Liar. Eventually, even interference from Cowboy Bob Orton couldn't defeat the Undertaker as he put away young Randall with a Tombstone. The combination of Orton's athleticism and moveset, 'Taker's desire to have a memorable match and the fun Cowboy cameo made this one of Orton's biggest and best matches, well, ever.
