2. Survivor Series: Roman Reigns Vs. Drew McIntyre

WWE's fall spectacular has had a rough go of things in recent years. To give the event - and WWE - some credit, there have been some amazing elimination matches (2014, 2016, 2019), and some big-time singles encounters (Bryan vs. Lesnar, Goldberg vs. Lesnar) that have been forgotten about in favour of complaining about how nobody cares about brand supremacy blah blah blah.

This year's main event, though, was something else. Two dominant champions, booked strong throughout the year, going head to head in a hard-hitting brawl that went longer than either of the elimination matches on the card: with good reason. McIntyre and Reigns can be two pillars of a new era of WWE; this event proved that the company can - and should - be getting away from the obsession with part-time legends.

It was a showcase of how far both men had come over the course of 2020; even though there were no fans present, this had the electricity of a heavyweight boxing match in the air. It was a given that Jey Uso would be getting involved at some point, but even that decision protected Drew while keeping Reigns' heat at a premium level.
