3. Rick Martel Vs. Bret Hart (WWF UK Rampage 1992)

Three years later, Bret Hart was back in the UK for another UK Rampage special aired on Sky Movies Plus. At UK Rampage 1991, Hart hadn't been on the card, but he was slotted for a WWF Intercontinental Title defence against Rick Martel in '92. The main event of the show was always going to involve The British Bulldog (against IRS), but Hart vs. Martel was a featured attraction too.

Unlike the previous two UK Rampage shows, the 1992 version was aired in the United States by way of Prime Time Wrestling. On this occasion, the show was hosted in the Sheffield Arena, moving away from London for the first time.

Months before the WWF would bring SummerSlam to the country, Hart was working an accomplished match against Martel. By this point in time, 'The Model' was never a serious threat to the Intercontinental Title, but he was able to work excellent one-off bouts when in there with someone like Bret.

This was a prime example of that, and the finish (a Hart Small Package that surprises Martel) worked a treat.
