Ranking Every AEW & WWE Show In 2021 From Worst To Best
3. WWE | Survivor Series
Survivor Series is normally the least popular of the big four pay-per-views from WWE, but this year it made its mark and is the best of a very up and down year for WWE in terms of shows. With such little build leading into this year's event, anticipation wasn't high, but everyone over-delivered for the last show of the year.
The first match on the main card saw Becky Lynch face off against former friend Charlotte Flair to see who was the more dominant champion, the two channelling heroes and villains in their WandaVision inspired gear. This match was one of two that had a build and the most media press surrounding it going into the event. The other was the main event between WWE Heavyweight Champion Big E and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Both traditional five-on-five elimination matches were also amazing, which was a welcome change from previous years where only one would be a stand-out moment of the night. Storylines for each brand progressed with everyone getting their moments, allowing for newer faces such as Shotzi and Toni Storm to be allowed to show off why they should be in title contention.
