Ranking EVERY Roman Reigns WWE WrestleMania Main Event From Worst To Best
6. WrestleMania 38 (Roman vs. Brock Lesnar)
Stop if you’ve heard this one before: Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar battled in a WrestleMania main event where they hit each other with their finishers multiple times.
WrestleMania 38 was technically the last in a trilogy of Brock vs. Roman 'Mania matches (the first chronologically and last on this list will come soon), but it was bolstered by its timing: It fell in the midst of the 'Tribal Chief’s' reign.
Roman would unify WWE’s two World Titles, capturing Brock’s WWE Championship to go along with his Universal Championship. He'd continue as the Unified Champ for a solid 2 years before Cody Rhodes would finally unseat him. During all of this, Triple H would introduce a new world title - the World Heavyweight Championship.
The 'Mania 38 match was a suitably epic – though thoroughly predictable – battle between the duelling heavyweights, and it marked a rare time that the pair really clicked in the ring. Perhaps that had something to do with Reigns finally being over with fans as a top guy - even as a heel.
Roman was unstoppable at this point with the Bloodline backing him at every turn, although he won this match cleanly. Finally vanquishing Lesnar on the biggest stage was a big deal, even though this really paled in comparison to the opening night's main event that year: 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin versus Kevin Owens.
