Ranking Every WWE Championship Reign Of The 2020s So Far

3. Roman Reigns (April 2022-April 2024)

Some of you might have been expecting to see this at the very top. In terms of historical value, Roman Reigns' two years spent as WWE Champion are unimpeachable, but remember, this doesn't include his time with the Universal Championship.

That means we can't talk about his great matches with Jey Uso or Kevin Owens or Daniel Bryan. We have to focus on everything that happened after WrestleMania 38, and that is a very mixed bag.

The highlights of this reign include a Last Man Standing war against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2022, an epic battle with Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, and the iconic way he lost the belt to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. As for the lowlights, remember his match against LA Knight? Or the disappointing end to WrestleMania 39? Or the months he would spend completely absent from TV?

A reign this long is always going to be varied, and Reigns' 735 days with the WWE Championship demonstrated the very best and very worst of the Tribal Chief character. When it was good, it was great, but when it was bad, it was the worst.
