The 'No Way Out' clash to determine a Number One Contender for the World Title looked to be one of the weakest Chamber matches ever on paper, with The Great Khali, Big Daddy V making up the numbers alongside Finlay and MVP.

However, in a continuation of their show-stealing chemistry from 2007, Batista and The Undertaker book-ended the entire match and miraculously continued their own hot streak, dragging something wholly watchable from something that could have been a total trainwreck.

Energetically going at it for the opening salvo, the two were then responsible for nearly all the decisions within the contest, as Batista took out Big Daddy V, and The Undertaker eliminated The Great Khali and Finlay.

With the remaining competitors vanquished after nearly thirty minutes of action, (including MVP taking a jaw-dropping bump from atop a pod to the ring) 'The Animal' and 'The Deadman' resumed their battle for a scintillating final five minutes, which came to a head when The Undertaker countered a last-ditch Batista attack against the wall of the Chamber with a Tombstone for the win.

It was a genuinely fitting climax to both the match, and their 2007/2008 rivalry as a whole.
