Ranking Every WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match Ever

3. Money In The Bank Ladder Match - WWE Money In The Bank 2014

WWE waited as long as they could in assessing the champion Daniel Bryan€™s neck injury, before finally making the decision to strip him of the title on the June 9th, 2014 edition of Raw. With just three weeks until the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, The Authority announced the revised main-event: an eight-man ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It sounded huge and it didn€™t disappoint, as John Cena, Alberto del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Kane, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Roman Reigns battled for the gold. Early in the match Reigns and Wyatt had a brief face-off that clearly intrigued the crowd, before Kane delivered Chokeslams to every man in the ring. On the floor, Orton delivered his patented DDT to Sheamus from a ladder, while Triple H and Stephanie looked on approvingly. Then a melee ensued as all eight men tried to climb both ladders. While the whole match probably didn€™t include anything we haven€™t seen in previous Money in the Bank Ladder matches, the extra championship incentive gave the match an even bigger feel. The finish came when Cena dragged Orton off a ladder and AA€™d him onto a prone Kane, before climbing up to capture his fifteenth World championship and mark the end of an awesome match.
