Ranking WWE's Empty Arena Pay Per Views From Worst To Best
10. Survivor Series 2020
The lowest of the big four on our list, Survivor Series earns its disappointing ranking mostly by merit of its two titular matches, both of which were pretty poor. The men’s match never really took off, and the women’s match had a goofy comedy ending involving Lana winning by default. Her reward? Several more months of nothingy booking.
Some of the champion vs champion matches were decent but few were exceptional. New Day vs The Street Profits was among the finest, a well worked, athletic encounter between two teams who know what they’re doing. Shasha vs Asuka was solid, but we’ve seen them put on better bouts in the year. Lashley vs Zayn was more angle than match, but Sami once again did glorious work in his hugely entertaining heel run.
It all comes down to Drew vs Roman, the two top guys in a veritable slobberknocker, and this did not disappoint. These brutes helped keep WWE aloft in choppy waters, and stole the show with ease in a hard fought clash that did good things for both men. The Undertaker’s emotional (if slow) retirement is also worth watching, though no doubt he’ll get a do-over in front of fans.
