Ranking WWE's One-Off Pay-Per-Views From Worst To Best

10. Capital Carnage - 1998

This was exactly as billed - carnage in London.

There was some great talent on the undercard - Edge, Christian, Triple H, and The Road Warriors included - but none of the first seven matches went longer than seven minutes.

The Rock beat X-Pac in a predictable and underwhelming WWF Championship match, and the fatal 4,-way main event between 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Mankind and Kane that promised so much on paper descended into farce when guest referee Gerald Briscoe showed special enforcer - footballer-turned-actor Vinne Jones - a red card.

Capital Carnage fell in the peak of the Attitude Era, when chaotic booking was almost a guarantee and often created great entertainment, but this was one occasion where it was too messy for its own good and damaged what should have been a much better show.
