Raw Newcomer Set For Major WWE Push?

This would explain a certain Raw result, at least...

Brendan Vink
WWE

Stop us if you think that you've heard this one before, but it looks like an unlikely WWE wrestler could be on the verge of a big-time push.

The latest name to be linked with a rocket-boosted elevation is relative newcomer Brendan Vink. PWInsider is reporting that WWE has been considering pushing him for a while, hence why they sent him to EVOLVE. His growth on the WWE-sponsored, Gabe Sapolsky-operated pseudo-developmental imprint was set to continue until the global health crisis kicked in, forcing WWE to alter their plans.

Speaking of those plans, PWInsider writes that Vink's recent main roster appearances are part of a plan to slowly build him into a big star. Specific reference is made to Braun Strowman's time in The Wyatt Family: Vince McMahon saw 'The Monster Among Men' as a long-termer, not somebody he'd hotshot to the top, and Vink is now expected to follow a similar path.

This may go some way to explaining why Vink and partner Shane Thorne scored a surprising win over the 2 Fly Crew of Cedric Alexander and Ricochet on this week's Raw, and why they are now affiliated with MVP.
