Having departed WWE in October 2024, Samantha Irvin has revealed that she's currently in the middle of a two-year non-compete as part of that exit.

Responding to a fan on X, Samantha noted how she's one year down on that non-compete, with one further year left to see out before she's able to return to the wrestling world, should that indeed be something she's interested in.

Since departing WWE, Samantha Irvin has largely focussed on her music career, performing under the Samantha the Bomb moniker, with her songs being found on, amongst other things, Samantha's YouTube channel and Spotify.

As for a return to pro wrestling down the line, it appears that Irvin certainly has some interest in that, stating in a February interview with USA Today that her "wrestling career has barely even begun". Also, part of the reason why Samantha requested to leave WWE after three years was due to wanting to expand her role beyond ring announcing. As she put it, "WWE saw no other future for me besides announcer. I love watching the action, but I don't love being an announcer."

Shortly after Irvin's release, there were certain comments about her wanting to become a manager or general manager, which seemingly WWE didn't have any interest in. So, it remains to be seen what role Samantha will step into should she return to wrestling at some point, be that joining her husband Ricochet in AEW or exploring her options elsewhere.
