Sasha Banks Wants WWE Matches With These Two NXT Stars
WWE SmackDown's Sasha Banks craves matches against two of NXT's finest.
Sasha Banks will be the latest guest on Steve Austin's 'Broken Skull Sessions' WWE Network show.
Before that gets released this weekend, the company decided to upload a quick teaser of 'Stone Cold' asking the reigning SmackDown Women's Champ some rapid fire questions. This has become a standard tease before each episode, and it's a format that works well.
Most of the questions are throwaway ("What's your favourite food?", "What's your favourite TV show?" etc), but Austin did ask Banks to name an NXT star she's been keeping a beady eye on.
Sasha has two: Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai.
She'd love to wrestle both of those in WWE at some point. The Ripley one seems most likely to happen first, if only because she's in creative limbo at the moment - Shirai is also the current NXT Women's Champion, so she'd probably have to drop that belt before moving to SmackDown for any dream feud with Banks.
Either one would be a fine post-WrestleMania 37 rival for Sasha, and Banks thinks she could do some of her best work with both women. That'd be the case whether she's still SmackDown Women's Champion or not.
