Seth Rollins' 9 WWE Title Defences - From Worst To Best
3. Dean Ambrose - Money In The Bank
After screwing Dean Ambrose out of the Money in the Bank briefcase the year before, these two coming to blows with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a ladder match felt very fitting indeed. Both men delivered in what was a surprisingly brutal ladder match, and they each used the weapon to great effect throughout (one of the best spots was no doubt when Ambrose suplexed Rollins onto the ladder when it was propped up in the corner). Funnily enough, it was perhaps the Lunatic Fringe who got the chance to really shine in this one, and that made the somewhat controversial ending all the more infuriating. Of course, it's that feeling of anger it was supposed to inspire as both men fell from the ladder at the same time, only for the referee to confirm that Rollins was the one to pull down the belt. That fluke victory aside though, and it's worth noting that Rollins had plenty to add to the highlight reel of this match too. His flying Powerbomb which sent Ambrose crashing into a pile of chairs on top of a ladder was nothing short of amazing, and the way he worked Ambrose's legs throughout the second half of the match was a very smart bit of storytelling. As heartbreaking as this one was for fans of Ambrose, it was a great way to end the rivalry between these two and a strong showing for what Rollins can do in this type of match,
