Seth Rollins' 9 WWE Title Defences - From Worst To Best

2. Neville - Raw

WWE World Heavyweight Championship matches on Raw are a rarity these days, but if the match these two former NXT Champions delivered proves anything, it's that they should probably happen more often! Despite being involved in a fairly high profile bout with Arrow star Stephen Amell at SummerSlam, Neville hasn't fared that well on the main roster to date, and why he's being wasted after his work here is downright baffling. Regardless, common sense always said that Rollins wasn't going to drop the title to Neville on Raw weeks before a major PPV, but it was impossible not to become engrossed in the story these two told. When Neville hit that Red Arrow, it really did appear as if he had won the title, with Rollins' foot on the rope being the only thing that saved him right before the referee could count to three. The crowd exploded, but Rollins hitting the Pedigree after his high-flying opponent missed a second Red Arrow was a smart way to end this one in a clean way. This match put Neville over in a major way, so why he hasn't flourished since is hard to say, especially as this should arguably be considered one of the best matches of 2015. These two worked fantastically together, so hopefully the WWE will handle Neville a little better over the coming months in order to ensure he's in a position where he and Rollins can enter into a high profile feud shortly after the former champion's return...
