Enjoy Seth Rollins whilst he's still actively wrestling, because the multi-time World Champion has put a timeframe on his retirement from the ring. The WWE star told WFAN that he's aiming to retire from working a full-on schedule once he hits 45. Seth will be 39 years old in May 2025, which means he effectively has around 6 years of active duty to power through before hanging up the boots.

That isn't definite though - Rollins also told the station that this decision hinges on certain factors, and is "kind of going to depend on what [he does] in the next few years". In other words, things could change. Pro wrestling is an ever-shifting sort of industry, so boldly declaring an ironclad date for retirement is often tricky.

Right now, 2031 is Seth's goal. Get to that, and he'll be satisfied. Mid-40s sounds like a good time to call it a career to him.

There's further good news on the health front. Rollins hasn't had his troubles to seek with injuries over the years. Thankfully, he isn't one of the many clogging up the current WWE injury list, but Seth has had some nightmare woes physically since bursting onto the scene as part of The Shield in 2012.

He told WFAN that his body is in great shape heading into WrestleMania 41 season. Seth's very words were: "I feel good right now. I feel very good".

Rollins Is Interested In WWE Creative Team Role

During the interview, Rollins also told the station that he'd be very interested in taking up a role behind the scenes with WWE once he stops actively working matches. He described himself as a "behind the scenes guy" who'd "like to be on the other side of it". Nothing should be 100% ruled out in 2025 obviously, but Seth doesn't fancy becoming an onscreen character or authority figure who still hangs around on camera once he has nothing to give between the ropes.

"Let me help the business", he said.

Interestingly enough, as well as favouring a mentorship role behind the curtain, Seth would also be up for chipping in on the creative side of things. Someone with his vast experience in top storylines and matches would be super-useful to the writing staff, so this will be music to Triple H's ears.

If Rollins can split his retirement time between helping "the young guys and girls" develop in NXT (thus readying them for the main roster spotlight on Raw or SmackDown) and putting together creative ideas, then he could become one of Hunter's most valuable lieutenants. That's something to keep an eye on, but Seth is definitely interested in doing something along those lines.

6 more years of in-ring excellence, then it looks like Seth Rollins will remain a key part of the WWE structure backstage who aids the WWE roster as best he can.
