Steve Austin thinks the partnership between Roman Reigns and old friend Paul Heyman on SmackDown is "money".

The WWE legend told Sports Illustrated that both men complement one another very well, but he doesn't think anybody should be surprised by Heyman's recent work. "That's what Paul Heyman does", he said; it's difficult to argue that. Paul E has been a credit to everyone he's represented on TV in WWE, and only failed when talents like Curtis Axel (for example) couldn't meet him halfway.

Austin pointed out that Heyman once raised parts of his game too, and he sees him doing the exact same with Reigns today. There's a harder edge to Roman's work - 'Stone Cold' said he has "always been very solid in the ring", but has managed to take things to a whole new level since aligning with Paul.

Their 'Tribal Chief' and 'Special Council' union is a weekly highlight for fans tuning in on Friday nights.

Austin went on to describe the iconic manager as Roman's "rock of knowledge", and said he's someone Reigns can depend upon for a steady stream of ideas.

He's a huge fan of what they're doing, basically.
