The Champ Isn't Here: 10 Best Wrestlers Who Never Won WWE Title

7. Owen Hart

owen hart I€™ve always preferred Owen over Bret if you want to know the truth. It€™s unfortunate that he had to live in his brother€™s shadow for most of his career as I always thought he was a much better wrestler (in my opinion Bret was always just an overrated guy with an inflated ego who only knew five wrestling moves that he used over and over again). I thought for sure that Owen would have eventually won the world title (especially around the time he did his big heel turn and won the King of the Ring tournament as he was red hot during this period) but it didn€™t happen. Would he have ever won it if he hadn€™t died so tragically in 1999? For some reason I don€™t think so as he seemed destined to just always be an upper level mid-carder who never rose above the Intercontinental Championship scene despite the fact he was immensely talented and made a great heel who could always generate heat from the crowds he wrestled in front of every night.
