The Complete A-Z Of The Undertaker

12. O - Old School

The Undertaker
WWE

Labelled 'Old School' during Undertaker's 'American Bad Ass' years as one of the few holdovers from his prior persona, the ropewalk hammerlock into a leaping forearm attack became a signature spot that would survive every one of his incarnations.

Like so many aspects of his act, the move drew gasps from a crowd no matter who the victim or how many times they had seen it. If countered in the match, the anticipation for a successful deployment only grew.

In his early years, it was a moment of graceful beauty juxtaposed with his demonic demeanour and darkness. As he reached the autumn and winter of his career, it simply remained an incredible show of poise and balance from the near-seven-foot-tall performer.
